Morning Kindness, Evening Faithfulness

Every morning and night we are likely to have habitual activities. My favorite is coffee. Most people who know me know that I love coffee. In the evening I like tea and dessert. Whatever our habits are there is one that we should all learn to do both morning and evening. “To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night,” (Psalm 92:2)

It is good to habitually remember the lovingkindness and faithfulness of God. We are all so forgetful of the wonderful things that God has done. Israel is a prime example of how we can be. They forget that God delivered them from Egypt, sustained their clothing from wearing out, and provided food every day. May we be full of praise toward our God both morning and evening. Let these scriptures help you in your declaration of God’s lovingkindess and faithfulness.

Isaiah 54:8 God’s mercy is given through his everlasting kindness.
Psalm 40:11 We are preserved by his lovingkindness
1 John 1:9 He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
Psalm 119:90 His faithfulness endures according to His word.
Lamentations 3:23 God’s Faithfulness according to His mercy and compassion.
Psalms 119:75 God’s faithfulness to afflict so that we might praise Him.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 God’s faithfulness to sanctify and kept blameless.

These are just a start. There are a great many things that we should declare about God’s lovingkindness and faithfulness. Make it your habit.
